The Exonerated at Folger Theatre

Tonight we saw Measure for Measure at the Folger Shakerspear Theatre. Fabulous performance. I picked up a copy of their upcoming events and for anyone who is in the D.C. area, wanted to share this really interesting event:

Friday, March 17 at 8:00 p.m. Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen - two noted playrights and actors - will be performing scenes from their play "The Exonerated" which is based on interviews they conducted with over 40 wrongfully-convicted death row inmates across the country. Following the scenes from the play, the authors will discuss their new book: Living Justice: Love, Freedom, and the Making of Exonerated. Click here for more details.

Negotiation Tactics at 10,000 Feet

A tale from two summers ago finally hits the page. One of my favorite trips from Kazakhstan...and one of my favorite stories was just published at GoNomad.com.

Oriental Tales Ezine

This came across my email the other day...

Oriental Tales Magazine is currently accepting new travel stories for its Spring Issue (scheduled for release on April 1st, 2006). The quarterly online magazine specializes in a diverse selection of fresh, entertaining, and informative stories from travelers who have experienced life in East Asia. Each online issue will showcase seven selected feature articles from our contributing authors. If you would like to contribute a unique story or an amusing narrative about your experiences traveling throughout the Orient then we would like to hear from you! The deadline for all submissions is March 20th, 2006.

Might be a good place for new writers with an interest in Asia.
